Horner was named the top goal scorer of the season, with 18 goals to his name.
"It was good to reclaim the highest goal scorer title after no men's premier league last year," he said.
"I try and target two goals a game, I believe our defense is strong enough to limit the other teams to two or less, so if I can get two and the boys get a few then we are looking pretty good."
Horner said that no real goal stood out to him this year, but the ones he scored in the semi that got the Storm the home grand final were "probably the most important ones".
Horner has been playing hockey for nearly 20 years now and makes it his goal to continually improve.
"I think the season went pretty well considering we are a newly combined side, a lot of people didn't think we would be able to play together, but I think we combined really well for our first year," he said.

" I would just like to thank ziggies (Zig Zag) for joining clubs this year and allowing us to get a side in the competition and the premier league organisers for getting the season in before Covid shut everything down," he said.
