Two students achieved Band 6 results and 33 students had a range of results in the top bands.
Lithgow High School students with outstanding results include:
- Callie Capomolla - Band 6 Drama and Band 5 Biology and Visual Arts
- Andrei Falls - Band 6 Construction
- Ryan Bird -Band 5 Chemistry, Engineering Studies and Mathematics Advanced
- Ashleigh Kitchner-Band 5 Biology, Business Studies and PDHPE
- Brayden Mackie-, Band 5 Mathematics Advanced, Industrial Technology and Engineering Studies
- Felix Sy - Band 5 Business Studies, Mathematics Advanced and IDT
- Ellie Thompson-Spillane - Band 5 Business studies, Legal Studies and Society and Society and Culture
- Kory Pringle -Band 5 Mathematics Advanced and English Advanced
Mrs Mawhood, Relieving Principal of Lithgow High School said she was proud of the Year 12 students HSC results during this most unusual year of learning.
"I congratulate all of our students on their achievements in the 2020 HSC and particularly those who overcame adversity to realise success," she said.

"We had a very solid performance in Band 5 results across all Key Leaning Areas. Students demonstrated their agility and resilience throughout the COVID restrictions adapting to online learning and making use of the voluntary senior tutoring over 13,000 times".
Mrs Mawhood said it had been a tough year and their students have applied themselves.
"As a group they have supported each other throughout the difficult year of learning," she said.
"Congratulations to all our students who achieved early entry into their chosen University courses and have been selected in apprenticeships, this recognises our students' abilities and dedication.
"It is great to see we are producing students that are sought by institutes and employers."
