
Mark Seckold continued his rich vein of form when he registered the best stableford score during the Lithgow Golf Club's Saturday event.

An all rounder in his earlier days particularly in basketball and soccer Seckold has turned now his talents to golf and under the tutelage of low marker and friend Brian Judge he is benefiting from his tips.
Coming off a win on the Monday during the Lithgow Vets day, Seckold who plays off a handicap 25, doubled up to amass the big score of 42 points and is sure to loose some strokes off his handicap.
His score was good enough to win C grade with the runner up voucher going to Rob George on 39 The best scratch score went to Brian Giblett with 93.
There was some excellent scoring in the other grades also with Travis Cameron (handicap 5) taking out A grade with a score of 40 points.
Runner up was the consistent Harry Bender on 39 points which was a top score seeing that he plays off a handicap of one. He shot a one under par 71.
The best scratch score in A grade went to Steve Hall (plus 1 marker) with 71.
The B grade winner was Trevor Cameron making it another good day for the Cameron's with Travis and father Trevor figuring in the winners list a couple of weeks ago.
Trevor who plays off 15 finished with a score of 40 points with the runner up voucher going to the club's friendly starter Paul Stewart (15) on 39 points.Best scratch score went to Rob Hawes (10) with 80 ocb.

The star of the nearest to the pins was eight marker Paul Bosman on the 13th hole when he hit the perfect shot to find the bottom of the hole for that elusive "ace".
After many decades of near misses he finally will have his name up on the club's honour board.
Other nearest the pin winners were Darren Hunter, Chris Keller, Blake Bender and Chris Neville.
Vouchers went to those with 35 points and better and they were Frank Mantle, Gary Keen, Kyle Egan, Darren Hunter, Ken Mitchell, Paul Bosman, Troy Luka, Mark Willmott, Robbie Millar, Rob Ritchie, Justin Nelson, Greg Jackson, Dave Marshall, Don Farnsworth, Ken Durie, Chris Keller, Craig McManus and Richard Mara.

The Wednesday, November 11 nine hole competition winner was Brian Giblett with 26 points. Runner up was Don Farnsworth on 25 points on a countback from third placed John Griffiths.
Vouchers went down to those with 18 points on a countback and better and they were John Bird, Paul Stewart, Chris Keller, Trevor Cameron, Brian Judge, Chris Goodsell, Craig Pugsley, Pete Williams, Brian Quick, Dave Warren and Jeff Geddes.
Nearest the pins were Geoff Houlison and Glen Newton.
