The weather was kind on Saturday and games of triples were played.
All matches were very competitive and good bowls were put down by both sides.

At the conclusion of play, the results saw Lithgow Workies win six games to two, with welcome refreshments enjoyed in the club after a warm afternoon.
Sunday morning was a social bowls format, with friendly banter happening throughout the games, before the bowlers adjourned for lunch in the club.
Before heading home, all the Cardiff bowlers thanked the Lithgow Workies Club and said the hospitality afforded them, both in the cluband on the greens was exceptional, and they all had a most enjoyable weekend.
