It was a good day for Anthony Oldfield who figured in both placings during the Lithgow Golf Club's two ball best ball.

Playing in a group of three Oldfield being the lowest marker on a handicap of 5 was the "swinger" with Brandon Lloyd and Luke Sheppeard.
He was the dominant player in both teams having amassed a personal score of 39 points and combined with Lloyd for 47 points for the win and Sheppeard on 45 for runner up.
Although figuring in both placings Oldfield was only eligible for one winning voucher with the other prize money going back into vouchers.
Oldfield shared with Coby Hunter for the best single score of the day (39) with only seven golfers playing to their handicap on a rain sodden course.
The best scratch two ball went to Andrew Burton and Jonathan Van Veen with a two under par 70.

Burton again showed his consistency by shooting a par round 72 by himself.
Nearest to the pins went to Dave Thompson, Brandon Lloyd, Max Nightingale, Pat Wall and Rod Clarke.
Special mention goes to Pat Wall whose shot on the 13th finished only 14 cms from the hole (and yes he did get his birdie putt).
Vouchers went down to those with 42 points and better and they were Peter Hall, Don Farnsworth, John Chadwick, Ian Northey, Justin McCann, Ken Mitchell, Paul Stewart, Graham Dean, Greg Jackson, Max Nightingale, Kobe Hunter, Kyle Egan, John Bird, Rod Bright, Brian Giblett, Rob Ritchie, Gary Keen, Mark Seckold, Nathan Harris and Pat Wall.
The Wednesday, November 4 nine hole competition winner was Ken Durie on 22 points.
Runner up was Les Goldspink with 20 points ocb while third was Carlos Garibotto on 20 points.
Vouchers went down to those with 17 points and better and they were Rob Hawes, Luke Sheppeard, Anthony Oldfield, Les Barnes, Luke Bennett, Brian Quick, Anthony Potts, Tom Jennings and Scott Hunter.
Nearest to the pins were Rob George and Craig Pugsley.
The Friday, November 6 nine hole competition winner was Paul Stewart on 19 points.
