Richie Bilby and Frank Mierczak jumped out to a commanding lead of 17-6 at 11 ends. A mini comeback of three ends in a row couldn't stem the tide for Jan Kapusta and Graham Pitt and with the single shot handicap to Bilby and Mierczak they ran out easy winners 26+14 over 21 ends.
