A woman has been charged after an alleged stabbing in Portland on Thursday night, July 4.

A 23-year-old woman will face charges of reckless grievous bodily harm and wounding after a 42-year-old man was allegedly stabbed at a Wolgan Street address.
Police allege the accused produced a 30 centimetre carving style knife during an argument and stabbed the man once to the left side of his chest, below the arm pit.
It is alleged the victim attempted to grab the knife from the woman and sustained lacerations to his left hand.
Police were called to the scene at about 1am on Friday morning and took the woman to Lithgow Police Station, where she was charged. The victim was taken to Nepean hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
The woman appeared at Lithgow Local Court on Friday, July 5 and she was refused bail.
