Gift donations must be wrapped and tagged “male” or “female” and may be dropped off at the Council Administration Centre or any of the libraries by November 26.
“Gifts such as crochet coat-hangers, soft smelling lotions, fluffy socks, comfortable slippers, Santa hats, personal cosmetic wipes, mind games like Scrabble, crossword puzzles, and Sudoko, and chocolate treats and cookies are greatly appreciated,” mayor Ray Thompson said.

Gifts will be distributed by the mayor at functions held at local aged care homes during December.
