The event was attended by members of the Hoskins family and included a church service in the morning, followed by a lunch which was open to the entire community. Uniting Church Minister, Reverend Matthew Trounce, said the attendance at the service by the Academy Singers was a very special touch.

The bell ringers plied their trade as the community joined together in the neighbouring church centre to have lunch.
