LJ Hooker representative Jamie Giokaris was proud to present the 2017 Sporting awards to all female award recipients.
The first award presented was the 2017 Junior team achievement of the year which went to the Lithgow High School Under 15 girls basketball team.
While the 2017 Senior team achievement of the year was awarded to the Lithgow Open Hockey team.

International Sports Star of the year trophy is awarded to the best international achievement in 2017, in the past a number of local athletes have excelled in the international competition and this award was included to recognise their achievements.
The award which is proudly sponsored by the Lithgow City Workmans Club was awarded to, no stranger of these awards, Holly Beecroft for her impressive futsal skills.
The winner of the 2017 LJ Hooker Reg Cowden Junior Sports Star of the year went to Emily Watts for running and cycling, who couldn’t make it to the ceremony because she was racing at a triathlon in Bathurst.
The 2017 LJ Hooker Reg Cowden Senior Sports Star of the year was awarded to Roxsanne Van Veen for her ongoing cricket success.
