In their first away game of the season, the Lithgow Panthers showed just what they were capable of, winning 3-1 against Bathurst St Pats.

The Lithgow side had a slow start in the first quarter and took them a while to get into the game.
"We made some basic errors that put us on the back pedal early on," Panthers captain, Clare Bosman said.
"We used our transfers well which is something we've spoken about at training."
This created passing options through the midfield which gave the girls opportunities and outcomes in their attack, resulting in goals from Bella Luka, Shannon Legge and Millie Leard.

Bosman said Erin Burns was strong in their defence and Kellsey Charlton played in her rotation through the strikers and midfield.
"We will continue to work on our ball movement from the back, connecting with our midfield to create options for us up front," she said.
"The team welcomed Tamika Potter back with her first game of the season being ever so reliable in defence."
In the absence of Panthers Coach Mick Millar, the Panthers were under the guidance of assistant coach Paul Stains.
The Lithgow Panthers next match will take place at home on Saturday, May 15 against Souths at 1.30pm.
