Workies women's bowls club are the Western Division grade two pennants champions for 2021 defeating arch rivals Lawson three games to one.

This championship has been reduced this year with only four games being played at alternate clubs.
The first games were played at Lawson with Sue Metcalf's team comprising Wendy Constable, Ellen Staines and newcomer to pennants Glenda Anthes.
Anthes played extremely well in her first pennants championship and the team secured their first game in a convincing win.
Cheryl Schram's team comprising Lesley Townsend, Noela Williams and Barbara Watters lost their game making it one all.

In the return games at Lithgow Workies, Schram's team all played determined bowls having to get the win and came out with a great 20-10 win.
Metcalf's team scored another win with all her team combining well to have a convincing 22-16 win and to be overall pennants champions.
They will now play at St Mary's at the Zone playoffs on April, 27.
