Over 40 lady bowlers gathered to enjoy a meal from Petes Bistro Kar Wah Inn but the real reason for the event was to surprise three bowlers - Fay King, Norma Farrant and Margaret Ferguson, to become life members of Lithgow City Women's Bowls.
Fay has been a playing member since 1987 and has held many positions in the club as well as Western District, which she is still involved in.
She has held many Club Championships as well as State Championships and continues to enjoy the game.
Norma Farrant has been a member since 1993 and only finished playing bowls in about 2016 due to her ill health.
Norma has also held many positions at the Club and has also been elected as the new Patron.
She was a champion bowler and held many championships at the Club.
Margaret Ferguson, also known as Margie, has been a member of Lithgow City since 1989.
She has also held many positions over the years.
Margie has held many Championships over the years of her bowling career and is still a champion and an active member today.
Lithgow City Bowling Club would like to congratulate the ladies on their life membership.
