Kicking off first will be the Junior Lazers representative season. Seven teams will play in round one of the Western Junior League on February, 20 and 21.
Teams will travel to south west NSW, playing at Leeton, Narranderra, West Wylong and Griffith.
Unfortunately Lithgow was unable to enter a senior Lazers team due to the lack of officials with the right grades.
The association is asking for people to sign up to become a referee and do the training, as it would help the association greatly.
Both boys and girls junior competition will commence in Mid February and are holding muster days for the girls on February, 10 with the under 12 and 14's commencing at 4.15 and the under 16 and 18 at 5.15pm.
The boys will have their muster days on February 11, with the under 12 and 14 at 4.15 and the under 16 and 18 at 5.15pm.

Players should come to musters ready to play, and bring a ball, as teams will be graded during muster.
Referees will be needed for all competition, so if anyone is available, they should let the association know.
The muster day for the local senior men competition will be held Wednesday night, February 10.
The senior women's muster day is currently TBA.
To operate as an association, the Lithgow Basketball Association needs a Board of Directors and will hold its annual general meeting on March, 12 at 5pm in the Barton Street Stadium.
The association will have five vacant positions and people interested in helping the association should nominate in writing to the Returning Officer, PO Box 174 Lithgow.
