This was won by Cheryl Schram's team consisting of Cynthia Thornton Robyn Brown and Deidre Stubbs defeating Sue Metcalf's team comprising Glenda Anthes, Wendy Constable and Beryl McDonald in a thrilling and intense game 16-15.
Metcalf's team held the lead at 7-1 on the fifth end with McDonald and Anthes both playing excellent draw bowls.
Schram's team settled down with Deidre Stubbs playing her usual consistent lead bowls narrowed the gap and at the eleventh end it was nine all.

It was neck and neck with Brown and Constable playing controlled bowls and at the 16th end Schram's team had a comfortable 15-10 lead.
Metcalf with her great on shots started to fire and on the final end with Schram's team having a two shot advantage and holding three shots Metcalf played the perfect bowl and took the jack to her teams two bowls to ensure an extra end at 15 all.
Schram playing the last bowl cut out one shot to win the Championship 16-15 in a very exciting game.
