Event organiser Tracey Parsons said they had a really great response to the summer competition.
"The teams are loving the much more relaxed competition," she said.
With seven female teams and one mixed team participating in the competition, there have been a lot of competitive matches.
"The Summer competition is for fun, a lot of players play in a different team combination than what they do for winter," she said.
"There is also no ladder, so there is no stress to win."

Parsons said that the summer competition was great for fitness and allowed teams to keep active before the Winter season would start up again next year.
"It also allows those who can't play on Saturday's because of other commitments give it a go," she said.
Parsons said she was extremely happy with the way the competition has been going.
