The Minor singles is championship for beginners and was a hotly contested event this year.
The first six ends were evenly shared with McDonald, who has improved immensely this year, lead on the 10th end 11/6.
Serra, who has been playing for a couple of years showed her determination and fought back to level the scores at 15 all on the 17th end.

Both players put in some excellent draw shots and it was anyone's game with McDonald trying her hardest and at the 28th it was Serra who was showing her experience in a singles game who had a slight lead 23 /20.
Both players put in a great effort in a gruelling game but it was Serra who won the last two shots to win.
These two players have been great assets to the club and we wish them luck in the future with their bowls. Congratulations on a very exciting game.
