Erin's Outdoor Quality Power Centre has proved that, after donating a prize pack valued at $1000 to Prestige Boxing for a fundraising raffle.
The prize pack includes a 122c trimmer, a blower and a 135 pw pressure cleaner.
Prestige Boxing owner Roger Spence said the raffle was to help raise funds for their trip to Adelaide next month for the 2020 Club Championships.
"I'm hoping it will cover the cost of getting to South Australia and go towards getting some team jackets which we plan to put our sponsors on," he said,
He said with rough calculations it was going to cost around $4000 for the team to get flights and accommodation for the weekend competition.
Erin's Outdoor Quality Power Centre owner Shannon Kus said after Prestige was previously located across the road from his shop, he became good friends with Roger.
"When they [Prestige] moved in, I'd go and say G'day and I said if they needed anything done or if I could assist in any way, I was happy to help," he said.
Despite Prestige Boxing relocating to Bells Road, Lithgow, Mr Kus was all about supporting local businesses.
"We're growing together, supporting each other and that's fantastic," he said.
"Hopefully with the good reputation we both have we can get some funds together to send away fighters who are representing Lithgow," he said.
Mr Spence said he was grateful of the power centre's ongoing support.
"Shannon has always supported us and gave me some really good advice when things were tough during COVID, so I'm really thankful for that," he said.
Mr Spence also wanted to thank a number of other local businesses who have jumped on board, including CW Printing who provided raffle books.
Raffle tickets will be available from Prestige Boxing, the power centre and a number of shops around town. Tickets will be one for $5 or three for $10.
