Val Morris said that it was thanks to the generous community that 485 of those boxes have been funded so far.
The group plans on having a final packing day on Monday, October 26 at Lithgow Baptist Church on the Great Western Highway and Lee Street.
The packing day will start at 10.30am and everyone is invited to join.
