The Lithgow Golf Club welcomed Henry Plant and Equipment Hire on board as the new monthly medals sponsor.
Henry's have been great supporters of the club being valued sponsors of the two pennant teams and a big thanks goes out to them.
The A grade medal and handicap nett event was won by Ross Harrington on 71 nett.
Playing off a handicap of nine, Harrington has been in the golfing wilderness for awhile but looks to be back on track and heading back down the handicap ladder where he belongs.
Runner up was Michael Hunter on 73 nett with the best scratch score going to plus one marker Chris Neville with a one under par 71.
The B grade medal and major voucher went to Luke Oldfield with the best nett score of the day, a very good 68 nett.
Runner up was Steve Mays on 70 nett and the best scratch score went to Greg Giblett on 81.
The C grade players struggled in the heavy conditions as can be seen by the winning score of 76 nett returned by Gary Marshall who took out the medal and major voucher.
Runner up was Michael Stafford on 77 nett with the best scratch score being registered by John Griffiths on 100.

The winner of the Wednesday, August 26 nine hole competition was Steve McCann on 23 points, with runner up going to Phil Turner on 20 on a countback from third placed Mark Bennett.
Vouchers went down to those with 16 points ocb and they were Don Farnsworth, John Bird and Rick Cohen.
Nearest to the pins were Paul Bosman and Rob George.
The winner of the Friday, August 28 nine hole competition was Michael Casey on 23 points. Runner up went to Howie Fisher on 20 points.
Vouchers cut out on 19 ocb and they were Mark Willmott, Steve Cutler, Trevor Cameron and Paul Stewart.
Nearest the pin went to Wayne Morris.
Next Saturday's event will be a two ball best ball.
