Lithgow's Jaime Balzke packed up her life into a Ute and hit the road to Queensland

That's exactly what Lithgow's Jaime Balzke did when she left home with her kelpie pup Jodie in July, for what she hoped would be the adventure of a lifetime.

Two guys, one goal and a whole lot of community support.
Lithgow locals Curtis and Ben Young put their bodies on the line by taking on the 5-5-75 challenge last week.
So far they have raised a whopping $12,100.

Women's advisory committee puts call out for women in male dominated industries to come forward
In male-dominated industries women often feel overshadowed, lost or isolated in the workplace.
The Lithgow community has a large male dominated workforce, and at the latest Women's Advisory Committee meeting the group discussed ways they could acknowledge and support women in these industries.

Lithgow's Workies Wolves star player Keelan Bresac has been called in the Western Division squad 'Western Rams' to play North Sydney Bears at Carrington Bathurst this Sunday at 2pm.

Gang Gang Gallery new artwork
Visitors and local residents alike will be able to check out the new artwork of a cockatoo on the side of the Gang Gang Gallery building.
The work was completed by mural Artist Mandy Schone-Salter.
Foundation Course Accreditation
Lithgow Netball Association is giving a big congratulations to Taylor Bennett, Emily Chatham, Felicity Daskein, Leanne Kearney, Keely Millar and Maggie Muir for achieving their Foundation Course accreditation.
They also thanked Centennial Coal for sponsoring their Coach and Umpire education program in 2020.

Snow time
If you somehow missed the snow, the past weekend saw the Lithgow region and surrounds covered in snow.
Residents around Lithgow awoke on Saturday morning to thick blankets of snow after a major cold front moved across the region.
