
A BODY has been recovered by police searching for a man missing from the Blue Mountains.

The 75-year-old man was last seen about 9am last Saturday, May 23 at Evans Lookout at Blackheath.
Officers from the Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and a large-scale search for the man commenced the following day.
About 1.30pm on Saturday, May 30, PolAir located the body of a man on a cliff ledge in bushland north of Evans Lookout.
A police operation was conducted to recover the body on Sunday, May 31.
The body is yet to be formally identified, however, it is believed to be that of missing man David Bush.
Initial inquiries suggest his death is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
