Games were played at the Lithgow Workies.
Strikers versus Helmets:
S Davidson defeated D McBey 49-46 in a close game. It was the first win for hte Strikers in the LASA competition.
D Thurlow defeated P Kerr 103 to 57. Peter is a long time snooker player who has not played much in the last few years. When he finds his rhythm he will be back at his best and hard to beat.
G Willoughby defeated R Farnsworth 57-55. M Tonkin defeated G Connors 101 to 53. S Middleton defeated I Bulkeley 73 to 59.
High breaks went to C Baker on 27 and S Middleton on 30, meaning the Strikers won four to three and players of the match went to D Thurlow and S Middleton.
Tall Timbers versus Red Sox:
J Lyons defeated K Morris 84 to 55, with Lyons playing his usual good game making breaks of 14,15,16 and 18, making it hard for Morris to make ground.
H Fisher defeated J Stait 74 to 67 with Fisher playing a great game to beat J Stait who is always hard to beat.
T Cameron defeated M McCosker 64 to 29. M Smith defeated L Keeley 50 to 36. R Core defeated M Morris 77 to 32.
Core played great snooker making it a hard task for Morris to pull back the lead.
G Nolan defeated B Cook 72 to 68, a very close game with Nolan sealing victory with some great potting on the colours at the end of the game to take the match.
Red Sox won five to two, with players of the match going to J Lyons and H Fisher.

Matches played at Club Lithgow.
Miscues versus Pockets:
D Goodwin defeated A Whitworth 47 to 37. This was a particulary close game that could have gone either way as A Whitworth continually improves each week.
S Eagle defeated M Tattersall 54-39. D Barrington defeated K Slaven 60 to 46. J Martin defeated R Bender 51 to 41.
P Wilcox defeated R Thurlow 57 to 22. R Thurlow was playing his first game in the LASA competition and given time will be a very handy player especially with his Dad, Dallas, giving his some coaching.
G Bender defeated M Vinski 60 to 54. A confidant of mine informs me that M Vinski is a very good player with a lot of ability. It was a good win to Bender though.
Miscues won five to two and players of the match went to P Wilcox and D Barrington.
Jiggers had the bye.
This weeks draw at Club Lithgow:

This weeks draw at Lithgow Workies:

Many thanks go to the LASA Committee for 2019 and best wishes to the Committee for 2020. A big thanks also goes to Club Lithgow and Lithgow Workies Club for their continued support.
