Posting one of his best scores of the year was Geoff Wheeler who blitzed C grade with a nett score of 63 which was also the best nett score of the day.
Wheeler also took out the C grade medal and best scratch score with a 83.
The new club captain Justin Nelson also gained the trifecta winning the scratch score with a three under 69, the medal and the best nett score with 65.
Runner up was Brian Judge on 67 nett which was a good return to golf after being unable to play for a couple of months due to a shoulder injury.
In B grade, the winner of the nett and medal was Carlos Garibotto with 68 with the runner up being Rob Ritchie on 69.

Rod Bright scorched home over the back nine to post the best scratch score with 80 ocb.
It was a great way to finish the year for John Bird who played the near perfect shot on the ninth hole finishing 31 cms from the hole.
The shot was good enough to take out the Pro Pin with Bird picking up a tidy sum of prize money.
Other nearest to the pin winners were Bob Charlton, Mitch Luka, Steve Hall and Ben Futcher.
Those to play well and win vouchers were Dave Hicks, Graham Dean, Paul Bosman, Max McCann, Don Farnsworth and Brad Gordon. Vouchers cut out on 71 nett ocb.
Friday (Dec 27) nine hole competition:
Winner was Ben Young on 31, runner up Peter Thompson 29ocb and Gary Marshall 29.
Voucher winners were Paul Stewart and Ian Downey. Vouchers cut out on 27 points.
Nearest to the pins were Brian Judge and Ben Young.
