St Patrick's Primary School year six student Jai Simcoe was recently recognised by the NSW Government for representing his state at the NSW PSSA School Sports Australia Basketball Championships held in Bendigo in August.

The NSW team ended up finishing fourth at the titles.
To mark the achievement, Simcoe received a special certificate from Bathurst MP Paul Toole.

Simcoe is an up and coming basketballer who plays locally with the Lithgow Lazers and one day hopes to play for the Sydney Kings.
