Dudley and Fay King were wed on December 17, 1949 at Saint Paul's Church of England in Lithgow and celebrated 70 years of marriage together on Tuesday, December 17.
"I remember that day very clearly and I wouldn't have changed a thing," Mrs King said.
During their time together they have built a house in Ferro St, Lithgow where they raised two daughters Dale and Debbie and still live happily in it today.
The love birds have watched their family grow and have five grand children who are all happily married and 13 grand children.
They celebrated their anniversary a surprise picnic with family including children, grand children and great grand children at Lake Lyell followed by dinner with everyone at Black Gold Motel in Wallerawang.
Mr and Mrs King said they enjoyed seeing all of the family together and were pleased with everything they had achieved in 70 years.
