There were concerns raised that recent use of the site by Lithgow City Council for road maintenance may have impacted on the site's use for its regular farmers market.
Spokesperson Annie Cook said the site was ready to go and recognised the work of council in developing a plan to repair it in the short term.
Everyone is invited to join in the community market, which is a fundraiser for the Tarana rural fire brigade, from 9am-1pm.
This weekend, the market will host a special children's workshop which will allow them to pick, paint and plant a pot with a succulent.
