Lidsdale was sent into bat first and Roach, opening the batting, quickly took charge of the innings.
Despite losing Blake Bender and Brayden McCann cheaply (two runs each), the team finished with 3/220 from 36 overs.
Hartley bowlers Mitchell Blanchard, Shorne Holt and Darren Duncan took the wickets.
Hartley batsmen Warren Stevens (41) and Josh Blanchard (30*) set out to try to chase down the total, but the team fell short, finishing on 6/120.
Chris Redding (2-20) and Brayden McCann (2-31) led the wicket-takers, with scalps also going to Dom Dellabosca and Emmet Freeman.
Lithgow Valley Cricket Club v Lithgow Cougars
Lithgow Valley hit big to take out their match on Saturday.
Ben Sheehan smashed 109, partnered with Nic Kenniff (49 not out) to lead the charge.
It was a seesawing innings for the Valley team, with two batsmen, Hayden Wren and Hayden Crowder, run out for no score. Teammates Jake Brown and Daniel Stern also went for quackers.
The team finished on 6/175.
Cougars bowlers Blake Caldwell (3-21) and Kobe Hunter (1-27) did the damage.
In reply, Jon Cronin top-scored on 36, with ducks again featuring prominently on the scoreboard. Blake Caldwell was caught and bowled for no score off Aron Crowder, with Andrew McIntosh bowled by Hayden Crowder. The team slumped to a total of 67.
Chris Giugni starred with the ball for Valley, claiming 4-35, with Aron Crowder troubling the batsmen with his 3-18.
A wicket also went to Juzen Takahira.
Portland v La Salle Hornets
Sam Cameron got Portland's innings off to a solid start, but the team collapsed to just 89 in their innings against La Salle on Saturday.
Cameron hit 36 before he was caught and bowled by David Wheeler, who also picked up the wicket of Tom Stapleton for 13, who was setting up for a last stand.
Aaron Manton and Will Brown shared the remaining wickets, taking three each.
La Salle lost two wickets on their way to the total, losing Kiran Gajula cheaply (7), before Matt Hazell was dismissed for 31. Kevin Santeo (29*) and Will Brown (21*) struck the required runs to claim the win.
Portland's wickets were captured by Joel Cameron and Shane Green.
The Duck Pond
Hartley's Shorne Holt was out without score off the bowling of Chris Redding. He was joined by teammate Brendan Murdoch.
Portland's Brendon Miles and Nate Green went for a swim in their match against La Salle.
The two Haydens from the Valley team, Wren and Crowder, were part of a quadruple quacker for the team - Jake Brown and Daniel Stern rounded out their number. The opposition, the Cougars, couldn't keep out of the water; Blake Caldwell and Andrew McIntosh were bowled for zero.
