Lithgow Bears Rugby League Football Club held its annual 37th presentation night on Saturday, September 7 at the Lithgow Workies Showroom.

The rugby league and league tag sides came together to celebrate the end of the 2019 season with sponsors and supporters in attendance.
The night included dinner, a presentation slideshow of videos and photos of memorable moments throughout the season, awards and lots of dancing.
The Ian Ryan Memorial trophy was presented to both Bears treasurer Monique Millmore and Bears secretary Lauren Stevens who were recognised for their outstanding commitment to the club.
The Jeremy 'Jezza' Fittler Most Consistent player award was presented to Ryan Bilby by Jezza's mum.
Bilby played every game in the season including being picked in the 2019 New Era Cup representative side. He was the 2019 Bears captain and stepped up to the plate when defending players and took on the role authorisation and direction.
Two life members were also announced this year who reached 10 years involvement with the club, they were Scott Doonan as a player and committee member and Josh Lutschini who helped run water and put his hand up for linesman week in and week out.

In rugby league Players player was awarded to Nathan Annetts and in league tag to Jessie Lutschini and Sarah Millmore.
Best and Fairest went to Ryan Bilby (rugby league) and Lauren Stevens (league tag).
Austin King was recognised for top try scorer and Blake Collins was recognised for top point scorer in rugby league. Jessie Lutschini was recognised as top try and point scorer in league tag.
The most improved player was awarded to Peter Lewis in rugby league and Alanna Tomazin in league tag.
Rookie of the year went to Austin King (rugby league) and Kaitlyn McLaughlin (league tag).
Paul Traish received coaches award in rugby league and Andrea Savage in league tag.
The President's awards went to Jasmine Spittles, Trevor Lutschini and Kaleb Richey.
This year's Dirtbag awards went to Kaleb Richey and Paige Gallagher.
Each player was presented with a Bears backpack and jersey as well as water bottles, team photos and CD's of all the photos from the season.
The Bears would like to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, supporters and players and coaches for their contribution to the 2019 season.
Throughout the year the Bears have also sponsored many charities including running a football program for people living with disabilities, the Simon Williams Memorial, Lithgow Information Neighbourhood Centre (LINC) winter appeal, mental illness and suicide prevention, buy a bale for the farmers and many more.
The Bears will play a trial game on Saturday, September 28 against the Gundungurra Goannas at 2 or 2.30pm (to be confirmed) at Tony Luchetti Showground.
The match will prepare the Goannas for the Koori knockout, with some Bears players taking on one another as they swap teams to represent the Indigenous side.
Lithgow Bears are also currently seeking expressions of interest for 2020 coaches. The AGM will be held in November, date to be advised.
