Minister for Regional Transport and Roads and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said stops at Tarana and Rydal demonstrated the government's understand of the importance of transport connectivity.
"Not only will Rydal and Tarana locals be able to get on board the Bathurst Bullet 2.0, the existing service will also stop at these stations," he said.
"This means customers will have more choice than ever with access to the existing Dubbo-Sydney XPT service and the two Bullet services."

Mr Toole said Opal card readers had also been installed at both stations for use on the Bathurst Bullet.
"It's all happening at Rydal and Tarana, with customers able to use Opal cards to travel on both Bathurst Bullet services," Mr Toole said.
"This will make it easier for customers to connect to other services across Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, the Hunter and the Illawarra."
Customers can order an Opal card online at transportnsw.info, or opal.com.au for concession Opal and Gold Senior/Pensioner. Customers can also plan their trips by going to transportnsw.info.
The first inbound Bullet service leaves Bathurst at 5.46am, passing through Tarana at 6.18am, Rydal at 6.34am and Lithgow at 6.55am to arrive in Sydney Central at 9.27am.
The second Bathurst Bullet service will leave Bathurst at 7.35am, stopping at Tarana at 8.07am, Rydal at 8.23am and Lithgow at 8.42am to arrive in Sydney Central at 11.19am.
