Basketball player Zeke Evans won the junior award. Zeke is a member of the Lithgow Lazers Under 18's and senior men's team and was selected for an Australian representative team to America in July.
Players were selected from Victoria and Queensland, Zeke was one of the youngest players selected to compete.
Zeke played in two junior tournaments in America over two weeks and was one of the team's best players.
The Senior Award for July 2019 was won by Lithgow Bears men's rugby league team.
Nominations for outstanding sporting achievements in August and September will be accepted by Lithgow City Council until October 11. See the Lithgow City Council website for details.
