Lithgow Police are investigating three thefts of alcohol from BWS stores in Lithgow on Friday, July 19.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward to identify the perpetrators.
A man wearing black pants, a maroon and white jacket and multi-coloured shoes is alleged to have entered the BWS attached to the Woolworths shopping centre at about 5.35pm and stolen a 700ml bottle of Maker's Mark bourbon whisky.
After leaving the store without attempting to pay, it is alleged he went to the drive-through BWS store on Main Street and stole a 1L bottle of Bundaberg Rum. He was seen carrying a bottle of spirits out of the store and the police were contacted.

While examining CCTV footage of the theft, evidence of a second theft from the BWS drive-through store was found,
At about 5.15pm, a woman was pictured on CCTV entering the store. She is pictured picking up a four pack of Woodstock bourbon and cola, placing it in a black bag and leaving without paying.
If anyone witnessed any of these incidents, they are urged to contact Lithgow Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Ban
A Lithgow woman has been banned from Bunnings after the theft of a 10L can of paint valued at $180 on Saturday, July 20.
Staff witnessed the woman entering the store at 2.40pm through the timber yard, pick up a paint can and leave through the same entrance without attempting to pay. She was identified by police via CCTV footage and issued with a criminal infringement notice for stealing.
She has been also been banned from the store indefinitely.
Weapon
A Lithgow man has been charged with possessing a prohibited weapon after allegedly being found with a 'zombie' style machete during a search on Saturday.
Two men were searched after police allegedly detected an odour of cannabis in the car in which they were sitting in Bowenfels at 3.40pm on July 20.
A 21-year-old was charged with carrying the blade, which is a prohibited weapon.
