Grace McAndrew was a key player for Workies Pearls in their game against Wang Littlies. She moved the ball down court well and also showed some strong defensive skills. Charlotte Marjoram continued to find some free space and also apply pressure in defence.
Division 4
Portland Popstars defeated Wang Stars 19-1.For Popstars Charlotte Collins' defence is outstanding with lots of touches and intercepts, and Ava Van Den Berg's skills are improving each week.
Workies Rubies tried their hardest in the freezing conditions against Portland Pocket Rockets going down 61-2. Mia Sheehan was moving around the court well trying her best to get the ball, whilst Marni Thompson in centre was quick and always in the right spot.
Division 3
Vixens v Portland Hotshots 48-19. For Portland Hotshots Kara handley had a great game in GK, her defence was very strong. Jessica Gearside was outstanding with her attack in C. Vixens' Emily Newton's accurate shooting and Heidi Kingston strong defence helped Vixens to a win.
Workies Sparkles defeated Wang Lightning 23-12
Hannah and Phoebe McDonald Bender were fantastic in defence for Sapphires both girls worked amazing together trying to keep the attack out. However they went down to Wang Tigers 24-5

Lunachicks defeated Wang Swifts 42-22
Wang Amazons had a strong fourth quarter to match Vikings 32-32.Great leads and accurate goals by Jasmine Johnstone in combined with brilliant intercepts and rebounding skills by Briege Neale enabled Amazons to enjoy a draw.
Workies Thunder had a brilliant victory against Mustangs 37-35. one of their strongest players being Amanda Offner, who presented skill and strength when it came to outwitting her opponent. Another stand out player for Thunder was Amy Thompson, whose legs, although short, showed speed and agility as she whizzed around the centre court. Mustangs Ella Miccklesson played an awesome game again this week, marking her player and reading the play of the game and Charlotte Elliott held firm in GD to minimise her opponents access to the goal circle.
Division 1
Workies Firebirds had a convincing win over Wang Phoenix 57-22.Danielle Reynolds had a great game today with lots of intercepts for Workies Firebirds.
Workies Dynamite went down to Wang Hustlers 41-58
LDNA play their last round this weekend before a two week break for the school holidays, and resume on 20/7/19 just before school returns.
