The Mt Victoria resident was selected in the under 21 women's state team for the tournament in Lismore from July 10-17.
The 21-year-old plays centre mid-fielder. "I like the middle better because you can control the play more," she said.
Bosman took up the sport 10 years ago after watching a friend play and thought the game looked like fun. It didn't take long to hit her strides, having represented her state since under 13s. She plays representative hockey for Lithgow Panthers in the Central West Premier League and for Western Districts in the Sydney Women's Hockey League.

It's her second year on the NSW under 21s team. Last year they won gold at the Australian National Championships, defeating Queensland 2-1.
"We have a good rivalry with Queensland," Bosman said.
"[This year] All the teams are a bit tough. Victoria and Queensland are the ones to look out for.
"I'm excited to play against good teams and hopefully we come away with a gold medal again."
It will be the first time she's played at the hockey complex in Lismore, and is interested to see what curved ball the turf delivers.
"The synthetic turf is water based which makes the ball go quicker. It could be a fast game and more running," the former Mt Victoria Public and Lithgow High student said.
Bosman would love the opportunity to play for Australia, and has great admiration for Australian hockey great Jamie Dwyer and former Hockeyroo Casey Eastham.
