In the adult section, the award went to Ruth Lockley.
Ruth has been performing for many years at weddings, churches, at the Lithgow Red Cross and at the ANZAC Day concert.
Ruth also plays the piano and organ for functions and gives her time freely to others.
In the senior student's section the award went to Christian Broome. Christian has been involved in Lithgow High School musicals since he was in Year 7. He has been involved in the chorus as well as taking on roles including the Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. He has also been part of the Lithgow Musical Society's shows.
In the junior section. St Patrick's School Choir was recognised. It performs each year at multiple community events, at Bathurst Eisteddfod, carols in the park, for Catholic School Week, aged care facilities, and Hoskins Uniting Church for the ANZAC Day concert.
The Greater Lithgow Arts Council will be hosting a bingo night with the Vale Ladies on July 15 at Vale Hall. There is also a sausage sizzle at Bunnings on September 1 for Father's Day. All are welcome.
