War memorial and Anzac committee president Danny Whitty said he was eager to plant oak trees along the fence as they had a significant meaning to him.
"There are already some oak trees planted in the Main Street, my mum planted those back in 1928 in memory of the names on the cenotaph," he said.

He also said since those trees had been outlived, split and dropped it was time to brighten up the place again, using the same tree.
"I want to plant oak trees because there is this motto 'in death we're equal' meaning you're just as good as me, so I want them to match down behind the park, but we are still deciding," he said.
Mr Whitty said while discussions were still under way, the planting would take place in the near future.
