The 7's took on Bathurst City at Bathurst and while being competitive they lacked the fire power to come home with a win. Greg Anderson went down 21-19 to Jim Grives in a close game.
Des Francis had a close game against Jack Smith with never more than four shots in the game but he went down 20-17.
Ted Doggett played Norm Hayes but could not take control of the game. He won the ends but dropping a five and six did not help and he went down 28-24.
While not having a great year the 7s provided bowls for some of our newer bowlers with up to eight new bowlers turning out justifying the decision to go with two sides.
The 5's took on Workies at Wang and came away with a strong win. Chris Neaves won 32-13.
