They defeated the gallant team of Noela Williams, Barbara Kapusta and Betty Lothian
Green's team started brilliantly with Stubbs leading and the in-form Cynthia Thornton playing great bowls to lead 10-4 after eight ends.

Williams team dug in and with Lothian and Kapusta playing some great draw bowls caught up to be only two shots behind on the 14th end, 10-12.
Although Williams never stopped giving one hundred per cent, Green's team held it together to win 21-16.
A great game was played by all players making it a very exciting championship.
