Around 110 people and 50 rally cars travelled to Portland as part of their mini trek around the region to raise money for the 2019 Outback Car Trek, which donates the funds it raises each year to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Over the course of the weekend drivers travelled to Medlow Bath, Portland, Gulgong, Capertee, Mudgee and Dunedoo, raising around $20,000.
Captain of Big Dog rally car and one of the event organisers, John Gorman, said the weekend was about coming together for a good cause.
"Everyone donates $500 per car for the drive and then we also put money into the smaller towns by stopping whether it be for food, drink or accommodation.
"It's a good way to not only support the flying doctors but also the country towns and communities," he said.

Mr Gorman said he had been a part of the rally car scene for 27 years and he loved being able to get everyone involved.
"I love it, it's a sense of adventure and I love getting the younger kids involved and everyone has a good time for a good cause and the Royal Flying Doctor Service is one of the most reputable charities," he said.
Portland Bowling Club secretary Darryl Kirkwood thanked the drivers for coming and welcomed them back for next year.
"We appreciate you coming and we enjoy the company especially when the dogs come out," he said.
Mr Kirkwood donated $200 from the men's bowls and Elsie Kirkwood donated $200 from the ladies bowls and also provided the drivers with a luncheon.
Mr Gorman was overwhelmed with the support from Portland Bowling Club and said the weekend was humble and he looked forward to the big trek in June.
The Outback Car Trek will take the drivers over 12 days of remote country starting in Renmark on June 3 and finishing in Darwin on June 14 via the Flinders Ranges, Birdsville Track, Mt Isa, Hells Gate, Jabiru and Kakadu.
