The Men's FIH Pro League is an international men's field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), which replaces the Men's FIH Hockey World League.
The competition, also serves as a qualifier for the Hockey World Cup and the Olympic Games.
"Pretty excited, don't get to go back to our home state very often, if selection all goes well," Sharp said.
Sharp said it should be a good game, despite having a slow start against some classy teams.
"You never get to play in front of family and friends that often, so its exciting."
Australia is currently ranked third on 58.33 points, trailing Great Britain on 66.67 points and Belgium on 75 points.
