A fight organised between young men involved in an argument over social media took an even uglier turn after, police allege, an older man turned up armed with an axe.

Lithgow police state that two young Wallerawang men, aged 21 and 22, had been sending text messages to each other, which escalated into a challenge to fight in parkland at Wallerawang on Sunday, February 24.
There was a brief fight between the two young men, which was broken up. The father of one of the men then became involved in an argument with another man, 34, who had been contacted by one of the younger men and asked to come.
It is alleged this man produced a tomahawk. The father and son left the site to contact the police.
The 34-year-old, who is from Lithgow, has been charged with stalking and intimidation, custody of an offensive implement and behaving in an offensive manner in a public place.
He will face Lithgow Local Court on March 21.
False prescriptions
A Rylstone man has been charged with altering a prescription for medication.
The prescription, which was allegedly altered to include Valium, was reported to the police by Blooms Chemist on December 12, 2018.
The 42-year-old will face court on April 11.
Damage
The front door of the Sureway Employment and Training office on Eskbank Street was kicked and punched at 10.45am on Friday, February 22, causing $500 in damage.
A 22-year-old Lithgow man has been charged with causing malicious damage.
Teen rescued
Blue Mountains Police reported a 14-year-old student was rescued from Birrabang Canyon at Bell on Tuesday, February 26.
The Sydney student fell on a track and sustained hip and neck injuries. He contacted triple-zero and was extracted by Police Rescue and an Ambulance Special Operations Team.
He was was taken to Blue Mountains District Hospital for treatment.
Positive breath test
A 46-year-old woman was charged with drink driving after returning a breath analysis reading of 0.133.
Blue Mountains Police stated several reports were made to triple zero at about 6am on Wednesday, February 27, about a vehicle driving erratically between Mt Victoria and Katoomba.
The vehicle was pulled over on Katoomba Street and a breath test produced a positive result. The driver was arrested and taken to Katoomba Police Station.
Her licence has been suspended and she was will face Katoomba Local Court on March 25.
