Bowls and hats were everywhere, even the bushes surrounding the club were putting on a performance for the spectators.
Lawson were holding shot and Fay did a beautiful bowl and getting a wick helped to put her the bowl in the tiny gap just in front of Lawsons shot and on the jack.
One end there were eight bowls on the bank and four on the green and these four shots decided who was going to win the end.
Lithgow got away to a good start with a margin of 17 shots before Lawson found their rhythm, used the wind to their advantage and started putting shots on the board.
On the 17th end Lawson were behind one shot then the game became interesting and with only 4 ends left to play Lawson picked a shot but Lithgow City came away with the win, 21-17
Congratulations Lithgow City, commiserations Lawson.
