There were 32 teams represented from all the states, with two teams representing New Zealand included in the line-up.
The Wildfires cricket side had five players selected to represent NSW: Neville Castle, Paul Curran, Barry Fitzgerald, John Haddin and David Hicks.
All the players had a very successful week, with four of the players teams winning all of their matches to make the finals on Thursday.
David Hicks played in Division 3 in NSW Kookaburras and they were successful in taking a win against New Zealand, chasing down 180 runs with three overs to spare. David bowled very well, with figures of 0-6 off five overs early in the week.
Paul Curran and John Haddin both played together in Division 4 in NSW Grey Kangaroos and were also successful in having a win against Victoria 6. NSW were 5-181 and Vic made 174 in reply. Both players had a good week with John Haddin making 22 and retiring on Monday and Paul Curran also had good bowling figures on Sunday (1-3 off three).

Barry Fitzgerald played in Division 4 in NSW Red Kangaroos but were unsuccessful in making the finals. He had a good week of cricket, top scoring on the third day when opening the batting.
Neville Castle played in Division 1 for NSW Blues, which was beaten after a close match. Victoria 1 chased down their total of 174 with four overs to spare. Castle batted well with 27 runs off 29 balls in a tight match on Wednesday, which NSW won.
All players had a very successful and enjoyable social week, making new friendships and playing the game of cricket, which they all love.
On Thursday night they all enjoyed a dinner celebration at the Panthers Leagues Club, where a presentation was held.
