A 56-year-old man was reported missing on Thursday, September 13, after he was last seen at a home on Hill Street.
Just after 11pm on Friday, September 14, the man was located safe and well by officers after getting off a bus at Lithgow Railway Station.
Police wish to thank the public for its assistance.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14
Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Steven Attwell, 56, who has been reported missing in Lithgow.
He was last seen at his home in Hill Street, Lithgow.
When he failed to show up for work on Thursday, September 13, he was reported missing by his partner.
Police believe Mr Attwell left his home sometime between 9pm on Wednesday, September 12 and 11.30am on Thursday, September 13.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 165cm-175cm tall, of an athletic build, and brown hair.
Police have urged anyone with information about Mr Attwell’s whereabouts to contact Lithgow Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
