Leaving aside the weather, which was a challenge in itself, playing at Wade Park against an Orange CYMS team in the elimination final was a tough gig.

Liam Walsh hit back, scoring the Workies’ first try with eight minutes to go in the half. They headed into half time within striking distance of CYMS, with the score sitting at 14-6.
However, it was all CYMS in the second, with the final score CYMS 24, Workies 6.
In the premier league this weekend, Cowra will meet the Orange Hawks and Orange CYMS will take on Bathurst Panthers. In first division, Orange Hawks will play Bathurst St Pat’s, while Bathurst Panthers will face Orange CYMS.
