Maureen Ford named Lithgow Garden Club life member

A valued member of the Lithgow Garden Club, Maureen Ford has been honoured with Life Membership of the club. 

Maureen has been in the club since its inception in 2000

Maureen is an outstanding gardener and her garden is always sought out by the club as an essential garden for visiting clubs to see and admire. Her garden is always a blaze of colour.

Maureen has been involved with floral art and horticulture shows as a judge and as an exhibitor. In 2017 Maureen was awarded Champion in Miscellaneous Flowers section and Champion of the Bonsai section.

Maureen has always provided encouragement to other members of the club.

The July outing took place at the Lithgow TAFE College. 

Hospitality students prepared and served a beautiful three course meal.

Some members attended a movie at the community cinema after lunch.

The Garden Club meets the first Monday of the month at 2pm in Hoskins Church Hall. Come along if you would like to become a member.
