These multiple ribbon-winners would like entries galore in the pavilion at this year’s Show, which will be held on March 16-17.
“We need some young ones to get involved (in the Lithgow Show pavilion),” Maureen said.
They have different passions, but Maureen and Teresa, who are both from Lithgow, love a local Show win.

Last year was Teresa’s first time entering the jams and preserves sections. It was a hobby she fell into after moving from Sydney to a property at Vittoria.
“Once people know you make jams, you always have plenty of fruit,” she said.
“If you had told me 30 years ago I would have been making jam, I would have laughed at you.”
From jams, she fell into the fabulously sticky world of jellies, marmalades, relishes and preserves and came home, completely unexpectedly, with two ribbons from the 2017 Show, one for most successful and one for grand champion.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Teresa is pushing out into new fields, hoping to challenge her friend Maureen Ford’s run of success in the handicraft and veggie sections.
Maureen’s main passion is flowers, which she has been showing since 1971.
It started as a shared love of growing and displaying blooms with her first husband Ray Graham. After her husband passed away in 1984, Mrs Ford became involved in the annual Horticulture Show, which was held at the Lithgow Workmen's Club.
It was here she got to know her future second husband, Arthur Ford, who was also involved in organising the event.
At the 2017 Lithgow Show Maureen came away as the champion of the Miscellaneous Flowers and Bonsai exhibits.
In what may be a sign of things to come, she also claimed the champion single rose title at the 2018 Rydal Show.
Entries for the jam and cooking sections of the show need to be at the Lithgow Showground pavilion by 6pm on March 14.
The schedule for entries is available now on the Lithgow Show website.
