Amanda Saladine was in blistering form as she claimed four goals in the season opener.
The Zig Zag team members ran their heart out for four quarters but were outclassed as Lithgow Panthers ran out to a 8-0 lead.
This weekend is a holiday for both teams as part of the Easter general round bye but they are back in action on Saturday, April 27.
Zig Zag will take on St Pat's in Bathurst while Panthers will host Confederates in Lithgow.
The men's preseason matches continue at Orange on April 27, with Panthers taking on Parkes and Wanderers, and Zig Zag facing Wanderers and St Pat's.
