"It was a very special feeling," the Tokyo 2020 silver medalist said.
A celebration and congratulations on behalf of the NSW Government to the 486 Olympians and 179 Paralympians who performed at the summer Olympics, was live streamed on Sunday, September 5.
The Opera House was illuminated over a five-and-a-half hour period in recognition of their amazing efforts.

Sharp's face along with the other athletes were projected one by one onto the iconic sails, starting with the Paralympians and followed by the Olympians.
"It was an amazing spectacle by the NSW Government and one that will be cherished for a long time," Sharp said.
