Many local Telstra customers are wondering what to do in its absence if they need assistance.

The Lithgow Mercury reached out to Telstra to confirm the closure and to seek answers on the fate of its staff, all of whom were Lithgow locals.
They said the kiosk had been closed and all staff were offered other opportunities.
All staff have been offered roles at the Telstra store in Bathurst.
"We can confirm the Telstra licensee store (kiosk) in Lithgow is closing at the end of June," a Telstra spokesperson said.
"All staff have been offered redeployment opportunities in roles at the Telstra store in Bathurst."
In lieu of a physical location, Telstra said customers will be forced to call the company on the phone or travel to Bathurst or Penrith, the latter of which is not possible with current COVID restrictions.
"We know how important it is for our customers to have somewhere they can go to access and understand our products and services, and customers can still visit Telstra.com.au or the Telstra 24x7 App on their smartphone, or travel to the nearest retail stores in Bathurst and Penrith," the spokesperson said.
"For any urgent billing or fault enquiries customers can also contact us on 132 203."
